PM Modi targeted Congress and INDI Alliance in his address in a public rally in Khargone, Madhya Pradesh. In his address, PM Modi posed a question for the Congress party and opposition alliance asking, “…So much love for Pakistan and so much hatred for our army?”
While attacking the INDIA bloc, PM Modi said, “Congress and INDI alliance are not concerned about our faith or national interest. There is competition amongst them to make anti-national statements. After every phase, Congress’ love for Pakistan is increasing… A former Congress CM said that our army does terror attacks and Pakistan is innocent… Another Congress leader said that Pakistan was not behind the Mumbai terror attacks… Another leader of the alliance said that Pakistan is not wearing any bangles… I want to ask Shehzade what is the intention of his partners who are making these statements…
“One vote of yours made India the 5th largest economy, increased India’s global influence, abrogated Article 370 after 70 years, made an Adivasi daughter the President, gave reservation to women, sent the corrupt to jail, gave the guarantee of free ration and treatment, elevated the future of the youth, created unlimited opportunities, and got 25 crore people out of poverty. One vote of yours ended the 500-year-long wait and made the grand Ram Lalla temple,” he added.
PM Modi underscored that India stands at a pivotal moment in history and called on the citizens to determine whether “vote jihad” will dominate or “Ram Rajya” will be realized.
In the morning, PM Modi exercised his franchise at Nishan Higher Secondary School in Ahmedabad, Gujarat, participating in the third phase of Lok Sabha elections.
Voting is underway for 93 Lok Sabha seats spanning 12 states and union territories on Tuesday. This phase includes Assam (4), Bihar (5), Chhattisgarh (7), Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (2), Goa (2), Gujarat (25), Karnataka (14), Maharashtra (11), Madhya Pradesh (8), Uttar Pradesh (10), and West Bengal (4). Notably, the BJP has secured the Surat seat uncontested.
Khargone Lok Sabha constituency is slated for polling on May 13 during the fourth phase.
The Lok Sabha elections are spread over seven phases, from April 19 to June 1, with the counting scheduled for June 4.
