According to the Bharat Express poll of polls, the NDA (BJP-led alliance) is projected to win 40 seats in Jharkhand's assembly elections. The INDIA (opposition) alliance is forecast to secure 38 seats, while others are expected to win 3 seats

Polling will take place in constituencies like Ghaziabad, Khair, Meerapur, Kundarki, Karhal, Sisamau, Katehari, Majhawan, and Phulpur. Authorities have deployed tight security in sensitive areas

Notably, Omar became the first Chief Minster after abrogation of Article 370 from the valley. Jammu and Kashmir Conference party finished first securing 43 of total of 90 assembly constituencies in Jammu and Kashmir. 

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee walked out of the Prime Minister Narendra Modi-led NITI Aayog meeting in New Delhi on Saturday, accusing the organizers of deliberately switching off her microphone when she began speaking about the allocation of funds for the state

Despite the INDIA bloc Chief Ministers boycotting the meeting, Mamata Banerjee had intended to address the 'political discrimination' against Bengal in the Union Budget.

On Wednesday, INDIA bloc leaders staged a major protest at Parliament, strongly objecting to the new Union Budget.
