Ayodhya ready for PM’s visit, several artists to welcome Modi from across nation

With flowers, murals, and themed ornamental columns adorning the temple town and highest security Ayodhya is ready for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s visit on Saturday, December 30. Gaurav Dayal, the divisional commissioner of Ayodhya, stated that despite heavy fog in the city over the previous two days, all arrangements were proceeding as planned for the visit.

Before the consecration ceremony at the Ram temple on January 22, Modi will be greeted by a variety of groups of artists from across India as he arrives in Ayodhya to inaugurate the newly constructed Maharishi Valmiki International Airport and the renovated Ayodhya Dham Railway Station.

According to Gaurav Dayal, approximately 1.5 lakh people are anticipated to turn out for the roughly hour-long rally, following which Modi will leave Ayodhya.

On both sides of the recently renovated Ram Path and other roads that will fall on his way from the airport to the railway station, the administration has erected makeshift wooden barriers.

Between the airport and the train station, Modi is anticipated to conduct a roadshow and accept the well wishes of the Ayodhya community.

“Large posters bearing Modi’s image and carrying a message of welcome to the “holy city of Ayodhya” have been put up at various prominent locations in the temple town,” according to PTI.

Ayodhya divisional commissioner said, “We are all set for the PM’s visit. The city is being decorated with flowers. Beds have been reserved in various hospitals and at Rajarshi Dashrath Medical College, and security personnel are on their toes.”

PM will inaugurate a redeveloped station and a newly-built airport in the temple town. He is also expected to lay the foundation stones for a slew of development projects in Uttar Pradesh, as per PTI.
