Ayodhya Ram Mandir inauguration Unveiled
Prime Minister Narendra Modi is slated to participate in the highly anticipated consecration ceremony of the Ram Mandir, set to take place in the sacred town of Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday, January 22.
This event marks a virtual commencement of his re-election campaign for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. Ayodhya is abuzz with tens of thousands of enthusiastic devotees, creating a vibrant atmosphere with chants, dances, waving flags, honking horns, and drum beats.
The 160-foot-tall sanctuary for Lord Ram Lalla stands on the grounds where the Babri Masjid once stood, dismantled in 1992 by karsevaks under the leadership of then Bharatiya Janata Party president Lal Krishna Advani.
The Pran Pratishtha ceremony, expected to draw nearly 7,000 invitees including politicians, industrialists, celebrities, and sportspersons, is scheduled to commence around 12:20 pm.
The full schedule for January 22 is as follows:
10:25 am: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Ayodhya, taking a helicopter from the Ayodhya airport to the temple venue.
10:55 am: PM Modi will reach the Ram temple premises.
11:00 am – 12:00 pm: The prime minister may embark on a tour of the Ram Mandir premises.
12:05 pm – 1:00 pm: The pran-pratishtha or consecration ceremony will commence, with Modi overseeing the rituals.
1:00 pm: Modi will leave the temple premises to address a public gathering of around 7,000 attendees.

2:10 pm: Modi is scheduled to visit Kuber ka Tila, where the ancient temple of Bhagwan Shiv has been restored.
