7 Year Old Dies After Chinese Manjha Cuts Throat In Delhi

Police reported on Thursday that a seven-year-old child is believed to have died on Wednesday after having her throat cut by a stray “Chinese manjha” (glass-coated kite string).

The deceased resided in Paschim Vihar West of Delhi, according to Delhi Police.

The incident happened in Guru Harkishan Nagar area of Delhi while the victim was with her sister and father on motorcycle.

As per the reports the girl sat in front of her father who was driving the bike at the time of incident.

She was taken to the hospital by her parents but was declared dead.

A case is filed under 304 A IPC( Causing death due to negligence). Further investigation is underway.
