Saira Banu and Dilip Kumar were the most renowned couple of all time. Saira posted two photos of herself and her late husband to her Instagram account. She wrote a lengthy note and included some of Dilip Sahab’s favourite Urdu couplets with it. In her message, she stated: “ukoon-E-Dil Ke Liye Kuch Toh Ehtemaam Karoon, Zara Nazar Jo Miley Phir Unhe Salaam Karoon, Mujhe Toh Hosh Nahin Aap Mashwara Dijiyey, Kaha Se Chedoon Fasana Kahan Tamaam Karoon.”

Further thanking the “overwhelming multitude of caring well-wishers and dearest friends” for their support of Dilip Kumar, she added. “I am writing this note on the 7th of July to especially express my gratitude to the overwhelming number of caring well-wishers and dearest friends from all over the world who have so tremendously lifted me off my feet to this day with their never-ending remembrance, love, and respect for my Kohinoor, Dilip Kumar Sahib,” she continued. Time stopped on “7th of July” at “7 am” on that day, and my loved one fell into a deep sleep. Sahib, as I usually called him, should respond to one of his favourite couplets, so I begged the Almighty for this to happen.

‘Life, thoughts, and vision’ of Dili Kumar will be shared on Instagram, according to Saira Banu. We will continue to walk the path of life together, hand in hand, and united in our thoughts and being till the end of time, she said. “Till this day, I believe he is with me. Not just for my life, but for all those generations who have advanced in their lives as represented by his gracious presence and attitude, Dilip Sahib has been that iconic guiding light. He was not only the best actor of all time, but also an excellent human being who epitomised humility and decency. I want to promote his life, his ideas, and his commitment to many causes that benefit society and the well-being of the entire world on Instagram. He has been the ultimate actor and has dedicated his life to the film industry.
Soon after uploading the post, she got a lovely response from followers. “Welcome to Instagram, @sairabanu ma’am,” remarked a fan. I’m so glad you’re here. Another admirer commented, “So beautiful and heartwarming.”

Hindi film has benefited greatly from Dilip Kumar’s contributions. He contributed to such classic films as Madhumati, Saudagar, Mughal-e-Azam, Devdas, and Ganga Jumna. For his contributions to cinema, he even won the coveted Padma Vibhushan, Padma Bhushan, and Dada Saheb Phalke awards.
