Jadeja and MS Dhoni
On Friday, July 7, former Indian captain MS Dhoni turned 42. A record-tying fifth Indian Premier League (IPL) championship for Chennai Super Kings (CSK) was recently achieved under the veteran wicket keeper-batsman’s leadership. CSK’s victory over Gujarat Titans, the defending champions, in the final in Ahmedabad set off celebrations all over the nation. While experienced all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja’s performances with both bat and ball helped CSK tie Mumbai Indians’ record of IPL titles, veteran cricketer MS Dhoni undoubtedly played a role in the team’s successful season.
Jadeja sent a unique image from the IPL 2023 championship on Twitter to wish Dhoni, who turned 42 on Friday, a happy birthday.
“Since 2009, he has been my go-to man, forever. A very happy birthday to you, Mahi Bhai. Jadeja captioned a picture of Dhoni hugging him following the game, “See you soon in yellow.
Jadeja had a crucial cameo in the championship game and scored the decisive runs for CSK against the Gujarat Titans.
Rumors of a rift between Dhoni and Jadeja have surfaced, but the all-rounder’s most recent post has undoubtedly put an end to them.
Jadeja had dedicated his final-inning hit to Dhoni after the game. With the former India captain, who had raised him in the air after scoring the winning runs, he exchanged multiple photos.
As the Indian squad prepares for the next two-match Test series beginning on July 12, Jadeja is currently in the West Indies.
Dhoni is currently taking advantage of his time off from the game.
