Vairamuthu Decodes Rajinikanth’s Enduring Stardom

Seven-time National Award-winning lyricist Vairamuthu has decoded the core of Superstar Rajinikanth’s lasting success, praising the actor’s unmatched discipline and work-first philosophy.

Congratulating Rajinikanth on receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award, the veteran lyricist said the Superstar’s priorities have remained unchanged for decades. Work always came first, and everything else followed.

Writing on X, Vairamuthu applauded Rajinikanth’s honour and reflected on their long professional association. He said Rajinikanth never allowed the fame earned through cinema to spill into unrelated domains. The actor, he noted, kept his artistic identity pure and focused.

The lyricist emphasised that Rajinikanth built clear boundaries with fans, neither distant nor excessively intimate. This balance, he said, strengthened the actor’s bond with millions while preserving personal space.

Vairamuthu also highlighted Rajinikanth’s long-standing commitment to health.

The Superstar maintains a lean physique through disciplined diet and exercise. He adapts to new generations, Vairamuthu said, yet never compromises on his core values.

Despite Rajinikanth’s effort to stay away from controversies, Vairamuthu observed that society often pushes him into them.

The actor, however, never initiates conflict. He handles public life with humility and retains any sternness, if at all, in private.

Vairamuthu recalled lines he once wrote for a Rajinikanth film, stating that the Superstar lives by those words every day: “My life will not leave my body until I become Mount Everest. My body will not burn until I touch the limit.”

He said Rajinikanth continues to strive toward those ideals with remarkable determination.

The lyricist added that Rajinikanth carries a generous worldview. He believes that others, like him, must also live well and rise in life.

Vairamuthu ended his tribute by wishing the Superstar many more years of health, success and influence.

Rajinikanth’s legacy, he affirmed, is not merely built on superstardom but on relentless discipline, clarity of purpose and an unwavering commitment to personal excellence.
