Preity Zinta Shares Cute Pictures Of Her Twins, From Their ‘Mundan Ceremony’ In Los Angeles

On Monday morning, Bollywood actress Preity Zinta brightened up our Instagram feed. She posted photos of her children, Jai Zinta Goodenough and Gia Zinta Goodenough, following their ‘mundan ceremony.’ The ceremony is a traditional Hindu ritual in which the baby’s hair is shaved for the first time. Preity shared the adorable photos on Instagram, along with a heartfelt message.

Jai and Gia can be seen in the photos sitting on a carpeted floor with their backs turned and playing. Gia is dressed in a pale blue gown, while Jai is dressed in a gray T shirt and turquoise shorts. Preity’s living room appeared to be the location for the photographs.

In her caption, Preity explained the significance of the mundan ceremony, stating that for Hindus, shaving off a baby’s hair is considered a purification gesture, symbolizing the child’s freedom from previous lives. She expressed her happiness by writing, “So the Mundan ceremony took place this weekend. Jai and Gia after their Mundan ceremony” with a red heart emoji. Preity also used the hashtags #tradition, #mundanceceremony, and her personal hashtag #ting. Bobby Deol, a Bollywood actor, responded to the post with a slew of red heart emojis.

Fans showered the post with love and affection, using red heart emojis to express their admiration. “#jawan ka look Karwaliya Apne Bacchon se,” one eccentric fan joked (You have given Jawan look to your children).

Preity Zinta settled in los angeles after her marriage to Gene Goodenough. The couple tied the knot on 29 February 2016 in LA. The duo welcomed their kids via surrogacy in 2021
