Leopardi & Co, An Italian Comedy Film, Now Stars Whoopi Goldberg And Jeremy Irvine

The cast of the Italian comedy feature film ‘Leopardi & Co’, directed by Federica Biondi, has been expanded to include Hollywood veteran Whoopi Goldberg and actor Jeremy Irvine.

The town of Recanati, known as the birthplace of one of Italy’s finest poets, Giacomo Leopardi, is where the movie is reportedly currently being filmed.

In the film, Goldberg plays the agent who books an American actor (Irvine) to play the great Italian poet.

However, because her customer is unfamiliar with Leopardi, a young Italian woman, played by Denise Tantucci, is hired to provide background information, and romance begins.

The film will be shot in both Italian and English.
