The movie Adipurush, released on June 16, garnered a lot of negative feedback from the public, entire nation trolled the movie, since then film has not been able to attract people to the theatres. The movie appears to have fallen short of audience expectations, starting with the poor visual effects and ending with horrible language. In the midst of this, it has recently been revealed that Ramanand Sagar’s well-known programme Ramayan will shortly air again on television. The evergreen daily soap which is loved by the nation for its heart touching characters, emotional dialogues being relatble to everyone, will start running on Shemaroo TV on July 3. Since Adipurush release, people have been comparing it to Ramanand Sagar’s Ramayan.
Adipurush starring Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan has been the buzz of the town, its authenticity and factual representation have been called into question. Arun Govil who played the role of Ram in Ramayan called Adipurush “Hollywood ki cartoon”.

The mythical action movie Adipurush is based on the Hindu epic Ramayana. Om Raut wrote and directed the movie, which was made by T-Series and Retrophiles. The making of Adipurush costed around Rs 600 crore which makes it one of the most expensive movie of all time.
