Gautam Adani-led Adani Ports’ facility at Haifa port in Israel remained untouched during Iran’s recent ballistic missile attacks, sources confirmed. Cargo handling at the port continued without disruption, they said.
Iran launched strikes late Saturday night targeting Israel’s Haifa port and a nearby oil refinery. The attacks came in retaliation for Tel Aviv’s strikes earlier in the week on Iranian nuclear and military sites.

Shrapnel Found, No Injuries Reported
Sources said shrapnel landed in the chemical terminal of Haifa port, and other projectiles struck near the oil refinery. However, they confirmed there were no injuries.
An interceptor fragment was also discovered at the Kishan West section of the port. Despite this, operations carried on as usual. “Eight ships are currently docked, and cargo movement is normal,” said one source.
Minimal Impact on Adani’s Overall Operations
The Iranian missiles reportedly damaged part of the oil refinery, but there has been no official confirmation. Adani Ports has yet to issue a statement. Israeli authorities have also not commented.
Haifa port, a key maritime gateway, handles over 30 per cent of Israel’s imports. Adani Ports owns a 70 per cent stake. The facility represents less than 2 per cent of the cargo handled by Adani Ports and SEZ and contributes about 5 per cent of its total revenue.
Iran’s attack followed Israel’s early Friday airstrikes on Iranian military infrastructure. The two nations exchanged fire for a third straight day on Sunday, escalating tensions across the Middle East.
Iran said Israel hit two of its oil refineries, raising fears of wider assaults on its energy sector. Some Iranian missiles reportedly bypassed Israeli defences, striking central areas.
