On the 18th of September 2023, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau came up with an startling accusation on one of the prime Indian investigative agencies, Raw. His allegation talked about the possibility of the agency’s involvement in killing of Hardeep Singh Nijjar in Canada this year.
Two answers help the question with a ‘yes’ and a ‘No’ as well. Though the shocking accusation appears to be a overwhelmed manifestation of Khalistanised Canadian Political Diplomacy. This accusation has come from a country which has been harboring and nurturing Khalistani terrorist outfits on its land. And this is not today, for more than 4 decades this is what India has been noticing in Canada.
Clearly the terror mongers are the bone of contention between India & Canada. The story of spoiling relations between the two nations is all about such nurturing & harboring of terrorism. Thus this adjective ‘shocking conduct’, means explicit form which has been in its implicit form till 18-09-2023.
“Credible Allegations” the phrase used by PM Justin Trudeau sounds simply ridiculous. This is clear by this itself that these allegations are nothing but conjectures & surmises. Talk about criminal jurisprudence, this phrase has no existence there but what is important is either allegations are proved or disproved. Here the proving & disproving emanate from credible-relevance or admissible evidences only.
Bilateral relation between India and Canada has been such for last fifty years. Sheltering and giving safe home to Khalistani terrorist outfits has been a poisonous thinking by Canada. Canada has also been rejecting the Indian requests for extradition of such accused or convicted Khalistani terrorists along with such terrorist outfits. Some of the rejected Indian extradition requests belonged to of Khalistani leader Talvinder singh Parmar in 1982 and Parmar masterminded the bombing of the Air India Flight 182 from Tornoto to Mumbai in June 1985, in which 329 people were killed.
Being permissive in providing safe heaven to the secessionist activity & thereby to the organised crime too. There is now a clearly visible Khalistani-terrorist outfits’ nexus with organized crime syndicates. They are openly involved in illegal weapons, drugs, and money laundering. The gangs like Bishnoi Gang, Bambiha Gang etc. are the few names being heard now a days.
Moreover, Canada’s protest against India’s lawful action on such elements is also not acceptable. These elements have been involved in retaliatory attacks on multiple Indian missions in Canada. Even threatening and intimidation also took place over the arrest of Amrit Pal Singh, this is the most recent incidence.
The notorious Khalistani terrorist Amrit Pal Singh had made attempt to revive the Khalistani movement and was the leader of ‘WARIS PUNJAB DE’ for last two decades. Another terrorist, Jaspal Atwal was convicted for the assassination of a Punjab Minister in Punjab. He escaped from India and reached to Canada. But more noticeable was he when he was included as part of PM Justin Trudeau’s delegation as a Businessman in 2018 when PM Trudeau visited India.
It is only the reflection of the frustration of Canada. For more than 4 decades’ bitter relations of India with Canada witnessed no Indian PM’s bilateral visit to Canada from the year 1973 to 2015. Post recent accusation of September 18, 2023, situation now has gotten far bitter.
Nevertheless, this looks surprising the Canadian allegation has been leveled against a terrorist, Hardeep Singh Nijjar. It is the one terrorist who was the chief of the Khalistan Tiger Force (KTF) who was wanted in India as an accused for being behind terror operations in Punjab in India during decade of 1990.
An Interpol red corner notice was chasing him during those days whereas he was a Canadian citizen then. This crude reality speaks volumes about the obsession of Canada protecting the trust of Khalistani terrorists in Canada. Certainly the reason behind this Khalistanised Canadian Political diplomacy is the obvious influx of Khalistani separatists into Canadian Politics.
Isn’t this sort of relations against India by Canada for more than four decades, a violation of International Law? If so, why India or any other nation is obliged to maintain such an international relation? Don’t the diplomatic relations come under International Law?
