The Chinese pair dominated all three sets, scoring 38, 35 and 39 points against India’s 31, 30 and 29, respectively.

India missed another medal in the mixed doubles bronze-medal match. Harvinder and Bhawana lost to Iran after both teams finished regulation play at 4-4.

Elsewhere, India’s Jehan Madan and Shubham Wadhwa secured bronze in the men’s MD4 doubles para table tennis. The pair finished fourth in Group A after winning one match and losing three, earning the bronze medal.
