Kangana Ranaut has congratulated Vaibhav Sooryavanshi after the teenage cricketer earned a place in the Indian men’s cricket team.
During a conversation, Kangana described the selection as a significant accomplishment and conveyed her best wishes for his journey ahead. She said the youngster possesses immense potential and expressed hope that he would carve out a distinguished career for himself in international cricket.
Speaking about Vaibhav’s future, Kangana said Indian fans would love to see him excel on the biggest stage and contribute to the team’s major triumphs.
While acknowledging the expectations that come with representing the country, Kangana voiced her desire to see him play a role in bringing another World Cup title to India.
To underline her thoughts on talent and determination, the actress recited lines from a popular ghazal that celebrate breaking barriers and creating new traditions.
Vaibhav recently etched his name into the record books by becoming the youngest player ever to receive a call-up to India’s men’s cricket team.
The previous benchmark belonged to Sachin Tendulkar, who entered international cricket as a 16-year-old in 1989.
At just 15 years of age, Vaibhav has now set a new record, highlighting his rapid rise through the ranks and reinforcing his reputation as one of India’s brightest cricketing prospects.
Although the actress admitted that a demanding work schedule prevents her from following cricket closely, Kangana said she remains impressed by the youngster’s achievement and wishes him continued success.
Kangana is preparing for the release of ‘Bharat Bhhagya Viddhaata’, which pays tribute to healthcare professionals who displayed courage and commitment during the 2008 Mumbai terror attacks. The film is slated for a theatrical release on June 12.
