Upendra Rai, Chairman, MD and Editor-in-Chief of Bharat Express News Network, was accorded a grand welcome on his arrival in Varanasi amid drumbeats, chants and the sound of conch shells.
Lok Sabha MP from Machhalishahr, BP Saroj received and welcomed him at the airport. Along with this, Ambareesh Singh, a leading member of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s team also garlanded Upendra Rai with a souvenir.
During this, Subhash Singh, President of Kashi Patrakar Sangh, also welcomed Upendra Rai, Chairman of Bharat Express presenting him a shawl and a diary on behalf of the journalist association. Dr. Arvind Singh of DD News also welcomed Upendra Rai presenting him a shawl and Kashi Sankalp book dedicated to PM Modi. SK Singh presented him a Tulsi plant on behalf of the Airport Authority, while President of Jeevandeep Shikshan Group, Dr. Ashok Singh presented bouquets and shawl to senior journalist Upendra Rai.
Priests Welcomed With Conch Shell And Chanting
As soon as senior journalist Upendra Rai came out of the airport, the Batuk priests who came from Vanarasi welcomed him by blewing conch shells amidst chanting of mantras. During this, journalism students from many educational institutions showered flowers upon him. Many senior jorunalists of Delhi Bharat Express office and the entire team of Bharat Express, Purvanchal were also welcomed him and everyone looked so overwhelmed by his presence.

Addressing the media people present at the airport, Upendra Rai, Chairman of Bharat Express News Network, shared his vision of this new journalistic journey and said that the vision of Bharat Express will prove to be a milestone for the upcoming journalism. He held that Bharat Express will carry all the issues and problems of the current era in its agenda, because ultimately the goal of Bharat Express is public interest and its aim will be to serve the public, providing correct information to the public.
