Following a recent incident in Bahraich, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath took immediate action, dispatching high-ranking officials to the affected area. His instructions aimed to restore peace and order swiftly.

Upon landing at ground zero, CM Yogi held discussions with DGP Prashant Kumar and Additional Chief Secretary Home. He emphasized the need for real-time updates and directed strict measures against those responsible for the unrest. As a result, the situation is now stabilized.

They, along with four IPS officers, two ASPs, and four Deputy SPs, have been tasked with improving the local atmosphere. Furthermore, 12 companies of PAC, two companies of CRPF, and one company of RAF have been deployed. Officers from the range and zone were already present to assist.

Law enforcement is actively patrolling the streets, working to locate and apprehend miscreants. Their presence has reportedly caused many of these individuals to go into hiding. During the crackdown, over 30 suspects were detained.

DGP Prashant Kumar assured residents that peace has been restored and urged them to disregard rumors. He confirmed that an FIR has been filed against ten individuals, including named accusations against four miscreants. The search for additional suspects continues.

The DGP reiterated that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is closely monitoring the situation in Bahraich. He reassured the community that strict legal action would be pursued against all involved.
