Mallikarjun Kharge, the president of the Congress, stated on Wednesday that all parties who have a basic commitment to the principles stated in the Preamble of the Constitution would be welcomed by the Opposition’s INDIA group. The Congress chief minister declared that the mandate was “decisively against Mr. Modi” at the opposition grouping’s inaugural gathering following its stunning victories in the Lok Sabha election results of 2024.
Additionally, Mallikarjun Kharge informed the opposition leaders gathered at his home that all of the INDIA bloc’s allies battled valiantly, cohesively, and resolutely.
“The mandate is resoundingly against Mr. Modi, his policies, and the essence of his governance. In addition to being an obvious moral failure, it represents a significant political setback for him personally. He is adamant about opposing the people’s desire, nevertheless, according to Mallikarjun Kharge.
The purpose of the meeting was to discuss potential government formation, the alliance’s future plans, and whether or not to get in touch with previous allies N Chandrababu Naidu and Nitish Kumar.
In his opening remarks, the president of Congress declared, “The INDIA alliance welcomes all parties which share its fundamental commitment to the values enshrined in the Preamble to our Constitution and to its many provisions for economic, social, and political justice.”
“I welcome all INDIA alliance partners,” Mallikarjun Kharge stated, expressing gratitude to the INDIA bloc members. We fought valiantly, cohesively, and skillfully.”
“The constituents of the INDIA bloc thank the people of India for the overwhelming support received by our alliance,” Kharge said in a statement to the media following the meeting. The people’s mandate has responded appropriately to the hateful and unscrupulous politics of the BJP. This is a mandate to protect the Indian Constitution, combat rising costs, joblessness, and crony capitalism, and preserve democracy. The INDIA bloc will not give up on opposing the BJP’s fascist dictatorship under Modi.
