National Creators Award 2024 Nominees
The government has unveiled the contenders for the inaugural National Creators Award 2024, recognizing digital content creators who are driving positive change and innovation. With over 200 nominees competing across 22 categories, the selection process was open to both citizens and content creators, with nominations accepted until February 21 via the MyGov platform.

The nominated individuals represent a diverse array of talent across various categories such as storytelling, social change advocacy, environmental sustainability, education, and gaming. Among the nominees are well-known figures including Katrina Kaif, Yash, Ranveer Allahbadia, Komal Pandey, and Dharna Durga, showcasing a blend of established and emerging talent.
Standout nominees include Zakir Khan and Food Lovers TV in the storytelling category, and Nancy Tyagi and Abhi and Niyu in the disruptor category. Notable social change advocates like Sandeep Maheshwari and Prajakta Koli, as well as creators making an impact in agriculture such as Darshan Singh and Rythu Badi, are also recognized. The awards encompass creators from diverse fields including travel, technology, and gaming, with familiar names like Visa2explore, Gaurav Chaudhary, and Total Gaming in contention.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi shared his thoughts on social media, stating, “Social media has played a significant role in showcasing the skills and talents of individuals. Youngsters in India are excelling in content creation, and to recognize their talent, the National Creators Award has been introduced.”
The Terms & Conditions for the awards stipulate that nominees must be at least 18 years old, hold Indian nationality, and have content published on various digital platforms. Creators are allowed to self-nominate in a maximum of three categories, and nominations will be evaluated based on criteria such as creativity, impact, reach, innovation, sustainability, and alignment with the award’s objectives. A code of conduct ensuring content complies with legal and community standards is mandatory. The Jury’s decision is final, with no opportunities for appeals or re-evaluations, and follower/subscriber counts are considered as of February 9, 2024.
