Union Home Minister Amit Shah reaffirmed Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s firm commitment to a terrorism-free Jammu & Kashmir, stating that security forces will continue to enjoy full freedom to crush any attempt to threaten peace in the region.

Chairing a high-level meeting in New Delhi to review the security situation in J&K, HM Shah said that determined efforts by security agencies have crippled terrorist networks nurtured in the state by enemies of the nation. He assured that all necessary resources will continue to be provided to sustain these operations.

“Our security forces will continue to have full freedom of action to crush any attempt to threaten peace and security in the region,” HM Shah said, highlighting the importance of operational autonomy in counter-terror operations.
