Amar Abu Jallah, the commander of Hamas’ Khan Yunis naval unit, was killed in an air strike by the Israel Defence Forces (IDF).
According to the Israel Defence Forces, Amar Abu Jallah was involved in sending a number of attempted naval strikes that were repelled by Israeli forces since the commencement of the hostilities in Gaza.
Weapons warehouses, tunnel sites near the coast, raining posts, and observation posts of the terrorist organization Hamas were also discovered and destroyed under the supervision of an IDF naval intelligence ship.
