What Does Zelensky’s Visit To Sofia Depict? Is Russia Ukraine War Coming To An End?

Ukraine’s President – Volodymyr Zelenskyy is currently in Bulgaria and is in talks with Bulgarian President and Prime Minister on issues including security and next week’s NATO summit. The visit by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to Bulgaria, according to the Kremlin, demonstrates Kyiv’s efforts to include as many nations as possible in the Russia-Ukraine War. Zelenskyy took it ot Twitter and said, “I will hold substantial talks with Prime Minister Nikolai Denkov, meet with President Rumen Radev, government officials, parliamentarians, politicians, and journalists. Defense support, Euro-Atlantic integration, the @NATO Summit, security guarantees, and the implementation of the #PeaceFormula.”

Ukraine adding countries to its Power

Dmitry Peskov, a spokesman for the Kremlin, asserted that discussions like the ones Zelenskyy was holding in Bulgaria would not significantly alter the results of the Kremlin’s “special military operation” and provided the situation on the front lines as proof.

Zelenskyy had earlier stated that he was in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, to speak with the leaders of that nation about security and the next NATO conference.

Can Russia Ukraine war come to an end?

While Ukraine is making an effort to join countries, Belarus has suggested that Russia and Ukraine should come together to discuss but without any kind of conditions. During a meeting with foreign and Belarusian media representatives, Lukashenko said: “We have to stop now. We have already done a lot of bad things. But it could be worse. Therefore, we need to stop now, sit down at the negotiating table without preconditions. We must decide everything at the negotiating table.”

A discussion about peace with Ukraine, according to Lukashenko, is only feasible at this time since it won’t take place following its counter-offensive.

He added that a peace settlement in Ukraine should not depend on Washington, noting that “this is the business of Russia and Belarus”.
