Steve Smith 100th Test Match For Australia, Cricketer Shares A Magnificent Post Titled “Winning, Losing, Loss, Hurt..”

Prior to the third Test at Headingley, former Australian captain Steve Smith will take the field for Australia in his 100th Test match as Pat Cummins’ team attempts to capture the Ashes in 2023.

The freshly crowned World Test Championship (WTC) 2023 winners, who now lead their archrivals England by a score of 2-0 in the series, will want to further establish their dominance and secure a significant series victory.

The third Test at Headingley will be particularly memorable for Smith since the 34-year-old will play in his 100th Test. Ahead of his historic match, the seasoned player resorted to social media to deliver a magnificent message to his fans.

Smith thanked all of his supporters and spoke candidly about his experience playing red-ball cricket for Australia since his red-ball debut against Pakistan at the Lord’s on July 13, 2010.

It’s been a wild ride from 2010 until 2023. winning, losing, hurting, triumphing, and having a lot of fun. I will enter my 100th Test match tomorrow. Thank you to everyone who has helped me along the journey,” Smith’s touching post was captioned.

Powerful middle order for Australia

The middle-order batsman for Australia has recently been on fire, smashing hundreds against India in the WTC final and in the final Test against England at Lord’s.

His most recent century, a 110-run innings, was both his second at the “Home of Cricket” and his 32nd in red-ball cricket. Australia won by 43 runs thanks to Smith’s inning, which helped them reach 416 runs in their first inning. The victory was overshadowed by Alex Carey’s contentious dismissal of Jonny Bairstow.
