Singapore’s CapitaLand Commits to Significant Growth in India
Sanskriti Bist, a Bengaluru resident, made 1 kg of the Korean side dish Kimchi as a small welcome gift for her tenant.
Korean side dish kimchi is made of fermented and salty vegetables. Internet users are responding favorably to Ms. Bist’s humanitarian act.
Ms. Bist tweeted, “I made a 1kg batch of kimchi and stored it in the fridge for my tenant before subletting my apartment to him”.
“Is there a best landlord award I can apply for”, she added in her tweet.
This post is undoubtedly a game-changer at a time when Bengaluru landlords have come under fire for demanding renters’ extortionate rents, their LinkedIn profiles, board marks, and even an IIT and IIMs degree.
The tweet has approximately 25,000 views and numerous comments since it was posted. The woman’s kind act was well received online.
A person commented on the post with the phrase “Cutest gesture”.
Someone else said, “Find me a landlord like this pls.”
“What if they don’t like kimchi?” was a question posed to Ms. Bist by several people, to which Ms. Bist replied, “Haha, he told me he did in passing, so I made it as a small welcome gift”.
