The man who allegedly stabbed people in park
In a video clip posted by a freelance journalist, a French man is shown who is allegedly running after stabbing five people. The video is gaining traction over twitter. The man in video is a Syrian who is in his early 30s. he was granted the status of refugee in Sweden in April as per the information from police.
The video clip features the man in black shorts running in the park while the locals are chasing him.

The incident in detail of this French man
Amongst the 5 stabbed people, 4 were children. The incident took place in the town of Annecy in the French Alps. According to the media reports, the accused attacked a group of children who were at the time of the incident playing in the garden. They were al around 3 years of age.
Anthony Le Tallec, former professional footballer who was running in the park, told the media person, “He wanted to attack everyone. I moved away and he lunged at an old man and woman and stabbed the old man.”
Amongst the victims, three of them were in a very serous condition and even had a fear of losing life.

Reactions from the French Government
French President Emmanuel Macron called it an “attack of absolute cowardice”.
Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin tweeted that the culprit “has been arrested thanks to the rapid reaction of security forces”.
“The nation is shocked. Our thoughts are with (the victims) as well as their families and the emergency services,” he tweeted. Prime Minister Elisabeth Borne’s office announced she was travelling to the scene and MPs in the national parliament held a minute’s silence as news of the attack broke in the French media.
