Ukraine Air Force: Russia Launches Drone Attack On Ukraine, Fires Cruise Missile

Ukraine’s air force stated on Sunday that Russia launched 12 drones and a cruise missile at Ukraine overnight, with Ukraine’s air defence systems shooting 10 of the drones before they reached their targets.

The cruise missile was not destroyed but did not reach its objective, according to the Air Force. It was not specified what happened to the two drones that were not destroyed.

The Ukraine’s air force went on to say that the Iranian-made Shahed drones were routed to Ukraine’s northwest. The majority were shot down in Ukraine’s southern Mykolaiv region.

There were no reports of harm caused by falling debris or unexploded drones.
