The goal of proposal from Vivek Ramaswamy for upcoming elections is to get the US out of foreign conflicts

Vivek Ramaswamy, a Republican running for president, declared that a key component of his platform would be his non-interventionist foreign policy. Vivek Ramaswamy stated in an interview with the news agency Reuters that he aims to project himself as the least likely contender to enter a foreign conflict. On the eve of the third Republican primary, he will formally introduce a promise in Miami outlining his non-interventionist foreign policy ideas, a move intended to reassure voters.

Vivek Ramaswamy: I will call a litmus test for…

Ramaswamy stated that he would make all political appointees sign the promise if he were to defeat current President Joe Biden for the Republican primary and go on to win the general election in 2024. In addition, he would invite other elected leaders to join.

“This will be specifically I will call a litmus test for anybody who is an appointee in my administration and a clear signal to our own supporters,” Vivek Ramaswamy, who is polling a distant fourth in the Republican primary, said.

Here are the three objectives stated by Vivek

The pledge, dubbed “No to neocons,” will consist of three broad policy positions that signatories must agree to: “avoiding World War Three is a vital national objective”; “war is never a preference, only a necessity”; and “the sole duty of US policymakers is to US citizens,” he said.

This occurs during a dispute about foreign policy between Vivek Ramaswamy and Nikki Haley, a fellow Republican presidential candidate. Then, according to Vivek Ramaswamy, Nikki Haley’s strong foreign policy positions put the United States at danger of being drawn into a deadly war. Vivek Ramaswamy has opposed all military aid to Israel and the Ukraine, something that Nikki Haley has supported. The front-runner in the Republican primary, Florida governor Ron DeSantis, and front-runner Donald Trump have both opposed sending military or humanitarian aid to Ukraine.
