Texas Court Denies Woman’s Request For An Emergency Abortion

Late Friday, the Texas High Court blocked an emergency abortion for a pregnant woman whose fetus was determined to be nonviable.

The decision came after Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton asked the High Court to prevent Kate Cox, 31, from terminating her pregnancy after a district judge approved the surgery.
