On Thursday, Taiwan tracked 27 Chinese military aircraft and 7 naval vessels operating around the nation. It was between 6 am on Wednesday to 6 am on Thursday.
According to the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence, 19 aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait.
The aircraft also entered Taiwan’s southwestern and eastern Air Defence Identification Zone.
The Armed Forces have monitored the situation and responded accordingly.
Taking to X, the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence said, “27 PLA aircraft and 7 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m.(UTC+8) today. 19 of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered Taiwan’s SW and eastern ADIZ. #ROCArmedForces have monitored the situation and responded accordingly.”

Earlier on Wednesday, Taiwan detected 45 Chinese military aircraft and 6 naval vessels operating around the nation. It was between 6 am on Tuesday to 6 am on Wednesday.
According to the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence, 26 aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait.
The aircraft also entered Taiwan’s northern and southwestern Air Defence Identification Zone.

Since September 2020, China has increased its use of gray zone tactics. This includes incrementally increasing the number of military aircraft and naval ships operating around Taiwan.
