Taiwan on Wednesday said that it tracked 10 Chinese military aircraft and 7 naval vessels operating around the nation. It was between 6 am on Tuesday to 6 am on Wednesday.
According to the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence, 4 of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait.
The aircraft also entered Taiwan’s SW Air Defence Identification Zone.
In response, the Armed Forces have monitored the situation and employed appropriate forces to respond.
Taking to X, the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence said, “10 PLA aircraft and 7 PLAN vessels operating around Taiwan were detected up until 6 a.m. today. 4 of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait and entered Taiwan’s SW ADIZ. #ROCArmedForces have monitored the situation and employed appropriate forces to respond.”

Earlier on Tuesday, Taiwan detected 11 Chinese military aircraft and 8 naval vessels operating around the nation. It was between 6 am on Monday to 6 am on Tuesday.
According to the Taiwan Ministry of National Defence, 8 of the aircraft crossed the median line of the Taiwan Strait.
The aircraft also entered Taiwan’s SW and eastern Air Defence Identification Zone.
In response, the Armed Forces have monitored the situation and employed appropriate forces to respond.

Since September 2020, China has increased its use of gray zone tactics. This includes incrementally increasing the number of military aircraft and naval ships operating around Taiwan.
