The military said that the killing took place in Khyber pakhtunkhwa Province in Pakistan
Pakistan’s security forces launched intelligence-based operations in the Khyber district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) reported on Tuesday. The operations targeted militant groups including Fitna-Al-Khwarij, Laskar-e-Islam, and Jamat-ul-Ahrar.
According to the ISPR, the operations have led to the deaths of 25 terrorists, including a key leader. Furthermore, 11 terrorists have sustained injuries. Despite these successes, the operations also resulted in the deaths of four soldiers.
The army’s media wing detailed that these extensive Intelligence-Based Operations (IBOs) began on August 20, 2024. The operations focused on disrupting Fitna-Al-Khwarij and its affiliates. Notably, the operations have eliminated Abuzar alias Saddam, a significant Khwarij leader.

The ISPR emphasized that the significant losses inflicted upon terrorists reflect the commitment of Pakistan’s security forces to eradicating terrorism. The statement highlighted that recent acts of terrorism aimed to disrupt peace and development in Balochistan. The hostile forces have specifically targeted civilians in Musa Khel, Kalat, and Lasbela districts. These attacks resulted in numerous civilian casualties.
The military condemned the attacks as cowardly and vowed to bring those responsible to justice. The statement asserted that the security forces, alongside the nation, remain resolute in countering any attempts to destabilize Balochistan.
The military’s resolve was reinforced following a series of attacks on Monday, which killed at least 70 people, including security personnel, and left many others injured in Balochistan.
The ISPR concluded by reaffirming the determination of Pakistan’s security forces and law enforcement agencies to ensure peace, stability, and progress in the region, despite the heavy sacrifices made.
