Saudi Arabia Provides Yemen With $1.2 Billion In Economic Aid

Yemen’s presidential council has been given $1.2 billion by Saudi Arabia to support the country’s struggling economy.

Fighting with the Iran-aligned Houthis in north Yemen has virtually ceased in the last year, but the Saudi-backed government based in Aden has struggled with a weak currency and high costs.
