Russian Missiles Attack Ukraine Early Monday, 1 Dead, 30 Injured

Strong Russian missile attacks on Ukraine early on Monday resulted in one fatality and at least thirty people were injured. The attacks struck close to the front lines of the conflict in the east as well as in the center and western regions of the nation.

20 homes damaged

The Dnipropetrovsk region suffered the highest death toll, with 24 people injured in a strike on the town of Novomoskovsk and one woman killed in a missile attack outside the city of Kryvyi Rih. A missile assault in Kryvyi Rih itself caused damage to approximately 20 homes as well as a commercial center, according to regional governor Serhii Lysak.

Four missiles hit Kharkiv

According to Mayor Ihor Terekhov, at least four missiles struck Kharkiv, the second-largest city in the nation, injuring one person. Following an attack on the village of Zmiiv, two persons were injured and two more were buried beneath debris, according to regional governor Oleh Syniehubov.

Missile strike on a residential zone

As per regional governor Yurii Malashko, a missile strike on a residential zone in Zaporizhzhia, a significant city along the Dnipro River, injured two persons. According to Governor Oleksandr Prokudin, Russian forces launched 131 artillery attacks on the Kherson region in the last 24 hours, resulting in the deaths of two and the injuries of five. Following the withdrawal of Russian forces from Kherson to the eastern bank of the Dnipro in the autumn of 2022, the city and the surrounding area have been continuously targeted. On Monday morning, the central Khmelnytskyi region was rocked by at least six explosions; however, no information regarding casualties or damage was immediately available.
