Prince Harry with his wife
On Saturday, Prince Harry arrived at Westminster Abbey for his father King Charles’ coronation, joining his cousins, aunts, and uncles before the more senior members of the royal family.
Following his high-profile falling out with his family, it was unclear whether Harry, Charles’s younger son, would attend the historic event.
However, he announced last month that he will not be attending with his wife Meghan and two young children, who will remain in the United States. Archie, Harry’s eldest kid, had his fourth birthday on Saturday.

Buckingham Palace announced, “While Prince Harry, Meghan’s husband and Duke of Sussex, are attending the coronation ceremony today, the Duchess and their children – Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet will stay back in California”.
As he joined the 100 heads of state, dignitaries, and leaders of the arts, military, charities, and sports inside the Abbey, Harry smiled and nodded to members of the congregation.

Meghan’s absence coincides with persistent difficulties between Harry and his father and brother, Prince William.
In September of last year, Harry was publicly seen with Charles and William during the death of his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth II.
Harry and Meghan left the royal family in 2020 and have since launched a scathing attack on the monarchy.
