Navdeep Singh, Purchasing & Cost Control Manager at Blue Orchid Hotels, has received The Signature Award 2026 for his ‘Contribution in Supplier Development in Hospitality’.
The award was presented during a ceremony at London Hilton Park Lane on September 25, recognising Singh’s professional contribution to procurement and supplier management in the hospitality sector.
Singh has built a career spanning procurement, cost control, revenue management, auditing, front-office operations and broader hospitality management in India and the United Kingdom.
At Blue Orchid Hotels, he handles procurement strategy and cost control, drawing on his experience in supplier negotiations, procurement planning and operational efficiency.
His work involves developing supplier relationships while supporting the commercial requirements of the hotel group.
Before joining Blue Orchid Hotels, Singh held senior positions at Grange Hotels, including Manager of International Commissions and Revenue Controller & Internal Auditor.
These roles strengthened his experience in financial management, compliance, revenue control and operational supervision.
From Amritsar to London
Singh began his hospitality career in India and worked with MK Hotel in Amritsar, where he gained experience in a demanding hospitality environment and interacted with guests, dignitaries and celebrities.
He later served as Front Office Manager at Hotel Mohan International in Amritsar, building expertise in guest relations, front-office operations, and hotel management.
His career subsequently took him to the UK, reflecting the international scope of the hospitality industry.
Beyond his professional responsibilities, Singh has participated in community and volunteer activities, including initiatives during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has also engaged with cultural and interfaith organisations.
The Signature Award specifically recognises his contribution to supplier development, an area closely linked to procurement, responsible sourcing, cost management and operational efficiency.
The recognition marks another milestone in Singh’s hospitality career, which combines operational experience, commercial expertise and community engagement.
