Fuel depot on fire
Authorities said a drone strike caused a massive fire at a fuel depot in Sevastopol, the main port in Moscow-annexed Crimea, on Saturday.
Sevastopol, which is home to Russia’s Black Sea Fleet, has been targeted by a series since the Kremlin’s Ukraine offensive launched last year.
The peninsula’s newly installed governor, Mikhail Razvozhayev claimed, “A fuel reserve is on fire in the Kazachya Bay district”.
According to the preliminary reports, it was the result of a drone strike.

Mr. Razvozhayev estimated the fire’s size to be around 1,000 square metres and posted photographs of massive clouds of smoke billowing into the air.
Mr. Razvozhayev urged to Crimeans to remain calm and later stated, “Nobody was hurt”.
He further said that officials had the situation under control and that civilian infrastructure was not in danger.
Russia announced earlier this week that it had repelled a drone strike on the port.
In 2014, Russia annexed Crimea from Ukraine.
