The Israeli military has carried out a deadly strike on a UN school in Gaza, which housed a Hamas compound.
According to the Hamas combatant group, the attack killed at least 27 people.
The military claimed to have eliminated several terrorists after a precise strike on a Hamas compound inside the UNRWA school in Nuseirat, central Gaza.
Hamas’s media office described the attack as a horrific massacre that shames humanity.
Hamas’ October 7 strike on southern Israel launched Gaza’s worst war in history, killing 1,194 people, the majority of whom were civilians.
Combatants also kidnapped 251 captives, 120 of whom are still in Gaza, with the army claiming 41 are dead.
According to the health ministry of Hamas-ruled Gaza, Israel’s subsequent bombardment and ground offensive killed at least 36,586 individuals, the majority of whom were civilians.
