In a significant development amidst ongoing clashes, Hezbollah has broadcasted an audio message from its late leader, Hassan Nasrallah, via its affiliated Al-Manar TV.

The recording features Nasrallah addressing resistance fighters during a military drill, urging them to defend their homeland and values.

“We count on you…to defend your people, your families, your homeland, your values, and your dignity,” Nasrallah reportedly stated.

Israeli airstrikes reportedly killed Nasrallah on 27 September in Dahieh, the southern Beirut district where Hezbollah’s main headquarters is located.

The strike targeted a meeting of senior Hezbollah officials.

The timing of when the audio recorded remains unclear, but its release signals Hezbollah’s continued resolve in its struggle against Israel’s military campaign.

The Israeli army has intensified its operations against Hezbollah strongholds since 23 September, particularly in southern Beirut, marking a sharp escalation in the conflict.

Despite Nasrallah’s death, Hezbollah remains actively engaged, launching multiple rocket attacks into Israel.

On Sunday, the Israeli military reported that Hezbollah had fired 115 rockets into Israeli territory, signaling the severity of the ongoing confrontation.

Hezbollah also claimed responsibility for over 25 attacks on Israeli military positions, both in northern Israel and southern Lebanon.

These operations included close-quarters combat with Israeli troops, further intensifying the volatile situation along the border.

The group has issued warnings to Israeli citizens, advising them to avoid military areas to avoid potential harm.

This renewed conflict follows a similar flare-up a year ago when Hezbollah launched rockets into Israel in solidarity with Hamas during the Gaza war.

Tensions Rise Between Israeli Forces & UN Peacekeepers In Southern Lebanon

In a parallel development, tensions have also flared between Israeli forces and UN peacekeepers stationed in southern Lebanon.

On Sunday, the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) accused Israeli troops of breaching one of their positions near Ramia, a southern Lebanese village.

According to the UN, Israeli Merkava tanks destroyed the main gate of a peacekeeper post early in the morning, entering the area briefly before retreating 45 minutes later.

The incident is part of a broader trend, with several confrontations between Israeli forces and UN peacekeepers being reported in recent days.

The situation continues to develop as Hezbollah, Israel, and international peacekeepers navigate this dangerous escalation.
