Hamas Releases Video Of Three Israeli Women Hostages Following World Court Ruling

Israeli bombardments and ground offensive have killed at least 26,083 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip

On Friday, the Palestinian militant group Hamas released a video depicting three Israeli women who have been held hostage in Gaza since October 7, 2023.

Two of the ladies in the five-minute video identified themselves as Israeli soldiers, while the third claimed to be a civilian.

The women claimed they had been jailed for 107 days, implying the video was shot on Sunday.

The video was released shortly after the UN’s top court ruled that Israel must do everything possible to prevent genocide in Gaza.

The court ordered the immediate and unconditional release of hostages taken during the October 7 attack.

The extraordinary Hamas strike on October 7 killed around 1,140 people in Israel, the majority of them were civilians.

Militants also took approximately 250 hostages, and Israel claims about 132 of them are still in Gaza, including the bodies of at least 28 dead captives.

As per the Hamas government’s health ministry, Israeli bombardments and ground offensive have killed at least 26,083 Palestinians in the Gaza Strip since then, with around 70 percent of them being women, young children, and adolescents.
