Grammy Award Winner Falguni Shah Sings ‘Abundance In Millets’ To Promote Shree Ann Benefits

Grammy award winning Indian-American singer Falu (Falguni Shah) and her husband Gaurav Shah sing ‘Abundance in Millets’ a special song to promote the benefits of millets and their potential to alleviate world hunger.

Taking to twitter Falguni shared a post stating that the song “Abundance in Millets” is a song inspired by PM Modi’s proposition to the United Nations to declare 2023 as the International Year of Millets.

Conferred with Grammy in 2022

Falguni Shah is an Indian-American, born in Mumbai, sings ancient classical Indian melodies with contemporary western sounds. She has worked with many renowned artist including A.R Rehman in SlumDog Millionaire. She was conferred with Grammy Award for Best Children’s Album for her album A Colorful World in 2022.

70%  hungry people in world living in war-torn regions

The scale of the current global hunger and malnutrition crisis is enormous. According the World Food Programme (WFP) more than 345 million people experience severe food insecurity, based on data from 79 of the countries. This is more than twice as many as in 2020. Conflict continues to be the main cause of hunger, with 70% of the hungry people in the world living in violent or war-torn regions.
