Earthquake With 4.7 Magnitude Hits Philippines

The United States Geological Survey (USGS) detected a magnitude 4.7 earthquake on Thursday 157 kilometres south-southeast of Sarangani, Philippines.

Sarangani is a province in the Philippines’ Soccsksargen region.

The earthquake occurred at 03:11:16 (UTC) and had a depth of 116.5 kilometres.

The epicentre of the earthquake was located at 4.024°N latitude and 125.817°E longitude, according to the USGS.

There have been no reports of injuries or material damage as of yet. More information is awaited.
