5.8 Magnitude Earthquake Shakes Central Mexico

The country’s seismological institute stated that a 5.8-magnitude earthquake rattled most of central Mexico, including the capital, on Thursday, leading people to flee into the streets.

According to the institute, the tremor activated a warning siren system. Its epicentre was in Puebla, Mexico’s central state.
