Whatever You Post Online Will Be Used To Train Our AI Tools, Says Google’s Privacy Policy

Artificial Intelligence is kind of an invisible intruder into human lives. AI reads, stores, and interprets all our data to present the desired result that we require. We get to see all that we wish for. It is fascinating right! But look at it like this, it reads, stores, and interprets all your data that sometimes you might not want to show to the world. Whatever we post of share online, it is all used by AI software to actually form datasets that they can use in the future. In the same line of context, Google has made it clear that everything that the user will be posting online will used to train its AI tools and models. Google’s Privacy Policy is basically telling its users that they are going to store the data of the users for their own tools and models.

Changes in Google’s  privacy policy

Google announced changes to its privacy policies on its websites. It states, “Google uses the information to improve our services and to develop new products, features and technologies that benefit our users and the public. For example, we use publicly available information to help train Google’s AI models and build products and features like Google Translate, Bard and Cloud AI capabilities.”

AI models get their data like this

AI models use the information of the entire internet to take data through the process of web scrapping. It takes up valuable data from from the sources present online and then add up the sentimental value to it. It analyses the data with the perspective of a human brain. This process is very good for research purposes but the same is a violation in terms of service of a website that bars web scraping.

This method allow the AI tools to gather information from different sources and then know who all need them and how do they require the same. Any instance of search on AI will allow the tool present the result of the analysis that it has made so far.
