Peak Bengaluru Moment: Traffic Jam Of The Cyber City Proved To Be Fruitful For This Start Up

Bengaluru, the startup hub of India, has been the subject of a number of internet memes lately that showcase distinctive occurrences that are exclusive to the city. The internet is rife with tales of “peak Bengaluru” moments, which are events that catch people’s attention in the IT capital of India. In another such case, a start up co-founder and his colleague used the notorious Bengaluru traffic as a catalyst for some fruitful brainstorming. Ankit Parasher, co-founder of Salt and Lets Transport, took to X (formerly Twitter) to discuss how he and his colleague took advantage of the special chance to talk about work-related matters.

Mr. Parasher was caught in heavy traffic in Bengaluru on his way to his office. By coincidence, he ran into Shival Srivastava, his neighbor and colleague. The two took advantage of the longer than expected wait at the red light to come up with concepts for a “new onboarding flow” for their next project.

Sharing a picture, Mr Parasher wrote, “Before moving to Bengaluru, I heard about the startup vibe and the crazy traffic. Today, they merged!  Stuck at a red light, @_shivamsr and I brainstormed our new onboarding flow. We were late to the office, but it was a productive detour!”

The post was shared by Mr. Parasher a few hours ago, and in that time it has received over 18,000 views. Innovative remarks were shared by users in the comments section.

“Traffic Light Ventures,” wrote one user. “Damn, new startup idea: take meetings in Bangalore traffic,” said another.

“If they had only shared the vehicle, there would be less traffic in Bangalore dude,” suggested a third user.

Meanwhile, in another “peak Bengaluru” moment, a slogan spotted on an autorickshaw, “No compromise, only fight,” caught the attention of social media users. The image was posted on X by user Akshat Tak. The caption accompanying the post on X read, “@peakbengaluru moment: Bangalore auto rickshaw slogans are the best in the world”.

Another incident involved a parking sign at UB City Mall that shocked people on social media by charging an astounding ₹ 1,000 per hour for parking. The sign received millions of views and sparked a flurry of comments.
