Apple X Chat GPT
Chat GPT is now popular all around the globe for the easy answers that it provides for everything. There are various tech giants who are trying to build a tool like ChatGPT. According to a recent report, Apple has developed a ChatGPT-like tool, which in the organization is known as Apple GPT. Assumptions are there that the next move of Apple will be to launch their personal AI tool for all Apple users.
AI-based language from Apple
According to the same report, Apple has also built its personal framework, codenamed “Ajax.” It will be creating large language models that will just curate AI-based systems which will support the functioning and making of artificially intelligent tools. According to Bloomberg, Google JAX, the search engine giant’s machine learning framework, is used to run Ajax on Google Cloud. Apple is using Ajax to build substantial language models that will be the basis for an internal ChatGPT-style tool.

Problem with ‘Apple GPT’
Due to worries over generative AI security, the chatbot’s internal distribution was temporarily suspended, but it has subsequently been made available to additional Apple employees. The chatbot is becoming more accessible to employees, but access requires special authorization. According to the same report, any output from the chatbot cannot be utilized to create features aimed at users. The chatbot is being used by Apple employees to assist with product prototyping. Based on the data it was trained with, the chatbot can be used to summarise text and provide answers to queries.
Apple on Talent Hunt
The report comes at a time when Apple is looking for expertise in generative AI. On its career page, the organization offers a few job openings looking for generative AI specialists. It seeks engineers who have a “robust understanding of large language models and generative AI.”
