Alakh AI grabs attention of the education world
In less than two months, the Artificial Intelligence (AI) education platform “Alakh AI,” developed in-house by Physics Wallah, an ed-tech platform, has drawn over 1.5 million users, the company announced on Friday. AI is ruling many sectors and now, the education sector seems to adopt AI in its expansion.

The program was introduced by the company at the end of December 2023. Alakh AI includes offerings like AI Guru: Personalised Tutor, Sahayak: Smart Companion Powered by AI, and NCERT Pitara.
During its premier event, Vishwas Diwas, Physics Wallah unveiled a number of innovative educational technology projects.
Adopting the theme “Padhai Ka Naya Andaaz (A New Era in Education),” the educational technology platform unveiled advancements that aim to enhance the personalization, efficacy, and engagement of learning.
“‘Padhai Ka Naya Andaaz’ is more than a theme; it is our commitment to provide a learning experience that transcends traditional boundaries, making education more personalised, effective, and engaging for every student,” Alakh Pandey, CEO and Founder of Physics Wallah said in a statement.
But why ‘Alakh AI’
The company’s tech-savvy, futuristic Physics Wallah 2.0 approach, which focuses on improving student outcomes through cutting-edge technology, is at the heart of this endeavor.
Also, the ed tech firm has registered a steep decline in its profit in the last financial year. The decline was a big as 90 percent. Now, the entrepreneur is trying to look for alternatives that can keep the business going. Recently, Alakh Pandey also announced opening of traditional schools as ‘Gurukuls’ which will be physical schools that have been going on for ages in the country. It has become really important for the business to try out on innovation to stay strong in the market.
