Since keeping yourself hydrated is the solution to a plethora of problems, starting the day with a glass of water is one of the first steps recommended by experts. Detox drinks are typically promoted as a way to cleanse the body, eliminate toxins, and improve overall health.
However, one should always keep in mind that a balanced, nutrient-rich diet should not be replaced by detox drinks. Fitness coach Diksha Chhabra recently dropped an Instagram post where she imparted tips on how altering your morning routine by incorporating detox drinks followed by physical activities, among others are healthy ways to kickstart your day.

Here’s what the fitness coach recommends:
- She suggests people start the day with a glass of detox drink like green tea, lukewarm lemon water, cumin-carom water, overnight soaked ginger water, or cucumber or lemon-infused water.
- Following this she articulated that one much walk or do strength training exercises for 45 mins on an empty stomach.
- After a workout, she suggested that people consume a rich breakfast made with eggs, sprouts, protein oats smoothie, paneer sandwich and moong dal chilla.
- Last but not least, she advised people to incorporate a fistful of mixed dried fruits as a mid-morning snack.
