Vivo Launches Y600k Turbo With 9,020mAh Battery, 5,000-Nit Display

Vivo has expanded its Y600 series with the launch of the Y600k Turbo in China. The new mid-range smartphone stands out with a massive 9,020mAh battery, IP68 and IP69 ratings, and a display offering up to 5,000 nits of peak brightness.

Vivo has introduced the Y600k Turbo in two configurations: 12GB RAM with 256GB storage and 12GB RAM with 512GB storage.

The smartphone starts at CNY 2,799, which is around Rs 40,000. Buyers can choose from Electric Blue, Dune Gold and Millennial Park colour options. Vivo has not yet confirmed whether it will launch the smartphone in global markets.

The Y600k Turbo features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 2800 x 1260-pixel resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Its peak brightness reaches 5,000 nits, which should offer better visibility in bright outdoor conditions.

Vivo has powered the smartphone with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset and paired it with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

The biggest highlight remains its 9,020mAh battery. The phone supports 90W wired fast charging and uses a USB Type-C port. It runs Android 16-based OriginOS 6 and supports connectivity features such as Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC and an IR blaster.

For photography, the smartphone carries a dual rear camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and a 2MP depth sensor. An 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

The Y600k Turbo can also record videos in 4K resolution, adding another useful feature.
