Sikkim Floods

There are currently 28 relief camps in Sikkim housing a total of 6,487 people. With 10 such camps, Gangtok is the district with the most.

The Army is still looking for the other missing individuals. Army Dogs, drones, and specialized radar have all been used for the task.

The cloudburst originated over Lhonak Lake in North Sikkim, leading to the rapid swelling of the Teesta River, which flows through Sikkim and West Bengal.
