The CBI has filed an FIR regarding the alleged irregularities, officials confirmed on Sunday.

Earlier today, the Education Ministry also established a high-level committee of experts to recommend reforms in the examination process, data security protocols, and the overall structure and functioning of the NTA.

Pradhan noted that the top leadership of the NTA is under scrutiny due to alleged irregularities in the NEET and NET exams, although he denied any paper leak in the CSIR-UGC NET.

The Patna Police are investigating the issue and will soon submit a comprehensive report to the Government of India. Preliminary findings suggest that the issues identified were confined to a particular region.

Previously, the Supreme Court had issued a stern warning to the NTA, emphasizing the importance of accountability.

On Tuesday, the Supreme Court instructed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to address any irregularities found in the conduct of the NEET (UG) examination.

Petitioners argue that the committee formed by the NTA is unlikely to uncover the truth and emphasize the need for a credible, impartial investigation to restore public confidence in the examination system.

The SC issued a notice in response to NTA's plea, addressing the alleged NEET (UG) paper leak controversy.

NTA has given a clean chit to itself in grace marks in the NEET examination case. People are still filing petitions in the Supreme Court about NEET. Tanmaya Sharma and 16 others from Kota want to stop the admission process.

The petitioner contends that this decision discriminates against candidates adhering to instructions, disadvantaging them in the ranking process and endangering their future prospects.
